I suffered from severe acne with rosacea for more than 20 years. I tried everything from drug store acne products, natural home remedies, weekly visits to the esthetician, and even steroid creams prescribed by my dermatologist. None of these methods solved the root problem, so my skin conditions always returned. I tried a customized herb blend, and after 2 weeks I started seeing visible improvement. After 6 months, I noticed lasting results, and my acne has not returned.

I founded JOYFUL HERBS with Dr. Won Kim because many people like me have spent years being frustrated and embarrassed by their skin. I want to help people heal from within, and I believe you can be JOYFUL just as I am!

Won Kim comes from a family that has practiced acupuncture for three generations. With 40 years of clinical experience, he studied acupuncture in Korea and established a clinic in the United States in 1982.

Won Kim  has been a part of the Association of Korean Asian Medicine & Acupuncture of Califomia (AKAMAC) for numerous years, and is also an active member of Dong Euh Nal Dal Acupuncturists, a group that provides free treatments for low income patients. Won Kim also participates as a member of the Olympic Lions Club.

He has been a featured guest on a Korean radio program for over a decade as a subject matter expert on acupuncture and herbal medicine as they relate to everyday life.
